Abstract
The maun purpose of the book is to familiarise the reader with the latest research, raw materials and techniques for obtaining biofuels. The material deals with relevant areas, starting with renewable energy and biomass, to the current and potential application of biofuels in the Republic of Serbia via six chapters. Theoretical assumptions are accompanied by illustrative examples that facilitate understanding of matter all throughout.

From the reviews
„Book is written on an appropriate professional and scientific level, matter is very well selected and arranged by chapters, the reade is gradually introduced into all fields, and all chapters have similar methodological issues. Each chapter is showing a brief focus on energy, especially the environmental component of studied materials. Given the above, it is my pleasure to recommend Biofuels textbook for publication, as similar books are exceedingly rare in our enviroment. Also, I hope that this book will be useful for many other professional people outside the University, in order to adopt the necessary information about beneficial use of renewable energy sources in the coming period of economic development og our country“

„Biofuels was written to aid the current curriculum subject Bioenergy fuels and alternative processes, and is intended to be used by engineering students, in the Energy and process engineering Master programme. Bioenergy fuels, methods of their obtaining, processing and utilisation are very topical issues today. This book, through Introduction, Biomass, Biogas, Biodiesel, Bioethanol and Biofuels in the Republic of Serbia Chapters, gives a good cross-section of these topics, and allows students to be progressively introduced to these matters. In addition, I would like to empfasise that the book shows the most advanced methods of obtaining biofuels, and the fact is that a textbook like this did not previously exist.“
