<eng>On Thursday, November 14th, the twelfth GRID24 scientific symposium will begin, featuring over 200 participants from 20 countries, who will present more than 90 scientific papers across 13 fields. The goal of the GRID24 symposium is to continue the established tradition and enhance the exchange of specialized knowledge among scientists, researchers, and experts in the graphic industry in Serbia and abroad. The GRID24 International Symposium on Graphic Engineering and Design will be held from November 14-16, 2024, in Novi Sad, organized by the Department of Graphic Engineering and Design // University of Novi Sad // Faculty of Technical Sciences. This international symposium is held biennially. The main objective of all previous GRID symposia has been to connect researchers from various research centers in the field of graphic engineering and design through the presentation of research results to the scientific and professional community.
The twelfth GRID conference will continue its successful practice as a hybrid conference. In addition to in-person attendance, all participants unable to attend physically will have the option to present their work online. This approach aims to support inclusivity and diversity, allowing access to the conference for a broader audience without geographical constraints. The poster section will also be organized both in-person and in a digital format.
The program and review boards of the symposium include distinguished scientists from both domestic and international backgrounds. The symposium proceedings are published in English and have been indexed in the SCOPUS database since 2018.
It is also important to highlight that, starting this year, authors will have the option to prioritize publication in the Journal of Graphic Engineering and Design (JGED) when submitting their work. Acceptance decisions will be made following the review of submitted papers. The JGED journal is also indexed in the SCOPUS database. Papers accepted for publication in JGED will not be included in the conference proceedings but may still be presented at the conference.
We look forward to your active participation at the GRID24 symposium.</eng>
