Course is active from 01.10.2013..

Aim of the course is that students acquire knowledge and skills in the field of scenic techniques and technical production scenic events outside of theatre, the ability to participate in teamwork on a technical management, as well as to organize and run technical department in these institutions.
After finishing the course from student is expected knowledge of theory and practical use scenic technique in different types of spectacle, understanding of contemporary situation in the field of technical production scenic events, knowing structures and typologies, as well as characteristics of certain types of spectacles. It is expected that students acquire all theoretical and professional assumptions for coordination and leading technical production of scenic events, as well as ability for participation in teamwork and leading the team. Student is expected to have built personal views, ability to present them, argument and problematize verbally.
The course is directed toward studying scenic technique and technical production certain types of spectacle, as well as detail consideration of logics, principles and procedures that are valid for each of established types. Special attention is given to all technical and technological aspects of production scenic events, including criteria and principles in creating team, task assignment, establishment and quality control, as well as safety and security issues in the process of production and realization of events.
Lectures with demonstrations in given topics; Discussions in the lectures and workshops; Preparations of shorter exposures by students in the workshops; Writing a term work (setting a theme, collecting literature, analysis of the literature, conception of a structure, realization of the work, oral exposure of the work).
