Luka V. Strezoski was born on February 2, 1990. in Novi Sad, where he finished primary and secondary school. He enrolled at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, majoring in power systems engineering, in October 2009, and graduated in June 2013, with a grade of 9.96/10.00. He enrolled in master's studies at the same faculty and with the same major, in November 2013, and defended his master's thesis in July 2014, with an average of 10.00/10.00. During his master's studies, he attended City University London in Great Britain, majoring in Renewable Energy and Power System Management, where he passed all exams with the highest grades ("With Distinction"). He enrolled in doctoral studies in November 2014 at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, and in May 2015 he went to study at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, where he continued his studies and research for his doctoral thesis, under the joint supervision of the Faculty of Technical Sciences and Case Western Reserve University. He returned from the United States in June 2017, and defended his doctoral dissertation entitled "Calculation of complex short circuits in unbalanced distribution networks with distributed energy resources" at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad in October 2017, with an average 10.00/10.00. Since 2014, he has been employed at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, first as a Teaching Associate, then as an Assistant, and since March 2018 as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Power Engineering and Applied Software. In September 2020, he was elected the Head of the Department. He is the author of a prominent monograph of national importance, co-author of one collection of assignments, author/co-author of over 50 papers in top international journals and conferences, as well as editor and guest editor of several international journals from the SCI list. In December 2020, he was elected as the laureate of the prestigious "Dr. Zoran Đinđić" award for the best scientist and researcher under the age of 35, and in May 2022, he received the award for the achieved result in scientific and research work, from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad.
