Nataša Samardžić received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad (FTS-UNS), Serbia in 2009 and 2010, respectively. She was rewarded several times for excellent success during her studies (average grade 10.00). In 2011, she joined Department of Power, Electronics and Telecommunication, Chair for Electronics at Faculty of Technical Sciences as Intern Research. Starting from 2013, she was engaged as Teaching assistant, at several Undergraduate and Master courses on the study program for Microelectronics and Biomedical engineering including: 1) Introduction to electronics, 2) Materials in electronics, 3) Nanoelectronics, 4) Quantum and organic electronics and 5) Medical electronics. During her PhD studies she spent two months at EPFL, Lausanne where she worked in CMI-Center of Micro Nano Technology as part of activities within FP7-REGPOT project APOSTILLE. In december 2016. she defended PhD thesis entitled “Analysis of quantum transport mechanisms in nanometarial based memristive device” at Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. Starting from November 2017, Natasa Samardzic is Assistant Professor at FTS-UNS. She is reviewer for several scientific journals with impact factor: Journal of Applied Physics, International Journal of Electronics and Communications and Processing and Applications of Ceramics. She is engaged in the scientific project funded by Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia (III 45021) and in the project funded by Horizon 2020 program (RISE 690876). She is a member of Working Group 1, Memristor Device Technology of MemoCIS COST Action IC1401. During action activities she gave invited lecture at 6th MemoCIS Workshop in Krakow (September 2017) entitled “Resistive Switching Effect in Nanomaterials based Thin Film Memristors”. In July 2018, she was invited speaker at Volga Neuroscience Meeting 2018, where she gave lecture on “Nanomaterials based thin film memristors and their potential application in neuromorphic systems”. She is member of IEEE society and OE-A society. Her research interest includes modeling and fabrication of nanoelectronic devices and characterization of nanomaterials.
