The main objective of the course of the European energy strategy and sustainable development is designed to provide students in a simple and friendly way to present a very complex matter of EU policies in the areas of energy and sustainable development. Whether it's about energy security, energy efficiency or renewable energy sources, it is clear that this is a topic that in the times ahead will be at the top of the agenda of the EU, its member states, but also countries aspiring to membership including Serbia. As in other areas of energy policy is a "moving target." It is characterized by constant change, it is difficult and slow adjustment and significant national resistance.
Upon completion of the course, students will better understand the importance of the process of European integration, with a better understanding of energy strategies and sustainable energy development.
The process of accession to the European Union. The Lisbon strategy and the strategy Europe 2020. The liabilities of the accession process. Energy Community. Review of the legal framework in the field of energy. Serbia's integration in the energy sector. The experiences of other countries. Entrepreneurship and green jobs. Sustainable tourism. Monitoring and indicators of sustainable development. Practical classes.
The combination of interactive and traditional approaches of teaching. Students are encouraged to participate active in teaching, ask questions and give comments.
