Course is active from 01.01.2007..

Introduce students to the technologies and systems for connecting parts and components to obtain in the result mounted, fully functional and correct product.
After completing the course and passing the exam, the student is qualified to perform the structuring of products, see the necessary procedures for connecting and define the optimal sequence of their execution. Then to be able to accomplish the design of the technological process and system for hand-mechanized, automated and robotic assembly operations, and a reconciliation of the individual elements in a complex system. The student is also able to assess the cost and time of operations. In addition, students will be able to choose the level of disassembly will be implemented and how the separated materials will be treated and recycled in accordance with legal regulations.
Introduction to the Theory of assembly systems. Basic concepts and defiicije. Mounting position in the overall production process. The entities that affect the process of installation. The influence of structure on the assembly process. DFA methodology for assessing the suitability of the product for assembly. Structuring of products. Analysis of the characteristics of products and production program. Selection of variants of the assembly process. Determination of the number and sequence of the intervention - the network diagram. The level of specialization. Determination of the time and cost of operations. Making technological maps for each operation. design of technological systems for hand-mechanized, automated and robotic assembly. The choice of standard elements. Non-standard design of elements for assembly. design of of complex technological systems for installation. Selection of material handling and storage. Shaping the spatial structure of the system installation. Define the sequence of operations for products disassembly. Determining the depth of dismantling the product in accordance with the strategies for products at end of life. Removal technologies (with and without destruction). Equipment and tools for disassembly. The selection of materials, depending on the chosen strategy. Handling of hazardous and harmful substances. Automation dismantle operations. Design of production process and the system for dismantling.
Oral presentation with graphic presentation. Using the written materials and operational exercises, laboratory work and visit real modern business systems.
