Educational goal:

The course introduces selected concepts, methods and techniques in the field of human-machine interaction, with special focus on natural language processing.

Educational outcome:

Students will gain an understanding of the key concepts, methods and techniques in the field of human-machine interaction, and will be able to critically analyze their use and interrogate relevant scientific literature.

Course content:

Language modeling, acoustic modeling, natural language understanding, context modeling, human-machine interaction management, multimodal interaction, specification and design of conversational agents, social robots, critical review of methodological approaches, ethical issues.

Teaching methods:

Lectures, consultations and mentoring (depending on the number of students). Research work.
