The objective of this course is to acquire knowledge in the area of financing in entrepreneurship for individual entrepreneurs, partnerships, family businesses, and small and medium-size businesses. The emphasis is on financial aspects of the relationship between the company and its owners.

After completion of the course requirements, students will be knowledgeable about the mechanisms of important select business models, decision-making with respect to the appropriate form of entrepreneurial undertaking, assessment and evaluation of company's financial performance, budget analysis, cash flow analysis of entrepreneurial activities, exit strategy development, and the students will also be able to rely on the acquired skills in further professional work and development.

Key factors for successful entrepreneurship and/or management of small and medium-size companies; organization of and financing new entrepreneurial undertakings, assessment and evaluation of financial performance; short and long-term financial planning; entrepreneurial value generation and identification; financial structure of entrepreneurial undertakings; exit strategy and business reorientation strategy.
