Enabling students to master the programming techniques of visual programming components of animation, both entertaining and engineering type.
Event drive programming. Visual programming of animated objects and characters appearance and behavior. Master the basic components of appropriate software tools, especially Game Engines (Unreal and/or Unity).
Program abstractions of animation: objects, attributes and methods. Program techniques of specifying time, events and algorithms. Declarative, visual, methods of specifying objects and character of animation. Node-based visual programming concept. The techniques of visual programming: objects, character and camera; specification of active and passive type of character/object behavior, HCI and HUD.
Lectures; Lab Practice; Consultations.
