Educational goal:

The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge about the basic concepts and ways of realization of cybernetic-physical systems as well as about the methods of their application in modern industrial and other environments.

Educational outcome:

The outcome of the course is knowledge of the basic concepts and ways of realizing cybernetic physical systems, as well as the ways of their application in modern industrial and other environments.

Course content:

Introduction to cyber-physical systems (CFS); Evolution of CFS; Internet of Things; Automatic identification technologies; Wireless sensor networks; Suprevisory Control and Data Aquisition Systems; Axiomatic Design Theory of Contemporary Paradigms and Technology in the KFS; Service-oriented levels in automation and management infrastructure; Positioning of KFS in industrial automation systems; Machine-machine communication, Man-machine communication; Communication vehicle-vehicle; Networks for energy supply (electricity, heat, air pressure under pressure). Examples of application (industry, health, agriculture, etc.); Security of CFS.

Teaching methods:

Teaching is done through lectures and laboratory exercises. During the exercise, the student is obliged to do practically oriented tasks. Knowledge testing takes place through two tests and two colloquiums and a final exam, whereby the student must do all foreseen exercises before that. The final exam is written.
