The goal of this course is to introduce students to the specific methods and techniques that are used in the business intelligence domain: data gathering, analysis and transfer from the source systems to the data warehouse, as well as data visualization and presentation to business users for use in organizational planning, decision-making and operational activities.

Students will use the acquired knowledge in their professional work and further professional development. Students will gain knowledge on how to run the process of collection, analysis and transfer of data and information necessary to the formulation and implementation of specific strategies and decision-making processes in the company.

Data collection concepts; Integration of data from different sources into a data warehouse; ETL process; Tools for business reporting and data presentation to business users; Self-service BI tools; Identifying trends and patterns present in the data
