Educational goal:

The objective of the course is to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the basic principles and processes of building and managing relationships with employees, employee motivation and engagement. The course completes the competencies of students of human resources management module, developing the ability for successful and efficient internal communication in the organization

Educational outcome:

The course covers strategic role of building relationships with employees in the organization through various communication techniques and their practical application. Students will be able to understand the role of communication among employees and internal relations in the industrial system, to establish and execute basic processes in the enterprise, conduct research, plan, communicate and measure the performance and implementation of communication strategies for achieving organizational goals.

Course content:

Introduction to employee relations; Demography, labor force and market characteristics and trends; Global, national and organizational context; Management theories (classical, humanistic and modern theories), models of communication among employees; Globalization and international corporations; Internal communication strategies and employee relationship management (change management, crisis communication), processes that encourage commitment, employee engagement and creativity; Employee motivation techniques and tools;

Teaching methods:

Classes include lectures with examples and case studies in the field of internal relations and internal communication. Visiting lecturers are going to be included and wide range of case studies are going to be elaborated.
