ECTS 10

The objective of the course is to obtain the knowledge that can address the problem of sustainable production and opportunities for improvement, as well as the application of some of the concepts for increasing sustainability: reducing fresh water consumption, reducing consumption of materials, reducing energy consumption and increasing the share of energy from renewable sources.

The outcomes of the course are acquired knowledge related to improving the efficiency of production, respecting organization of production in a way that has as little negative effects on the environment, while simultaneously minimizing the consumption of natural resources.

Considering the transformation of the current industrial production in "Industry 4.0" and the impact on sustainability and overall sustainable development problems. Review of the sustainability of the compressed air system in terms of the impact of compressed air quality on energy efficiency and negative effects on the environment. Processing the problem of filtering compressed air, as a separate complex system in production. The problem of pressure drop in the system due to filtering and energy efficiency and energy consumption analysis. Clean technologies at the very beginning of the production process, as well as recycling methods for the removal of harmful substances that are released into the environment. Prevention of pollution is done by reduction and control of harmful substances at the very beginning of the production process. Cleanrooms are used in many industrial processes where small particles of pollutants can adversely affect the manufacturing process.

Theoretical part is followed by examples which serve to clarify the theoretical part of the curriculum. In addition to lectures are held regularly and consultation. Through study research student, studying scientific journals and other literature and conducting experiments, independently deepens the lecture material. In addition to working with the student teacher is trained to write your own scientific work in the chosen field.
