The objective of the course is to deliver knowledge combination of marketing, managerial and project skills in event organization. The objective is to raise capacity for managing marketing issues in event management, to use integrative new media and traditional marketing tools.
Students will be able to design, plan, deliver and measure event effects.
Introduction to event marketing. Event scope and type. Planning and development of events. Team creation. Concept and design - visual identity of event. Feasibility of ideas. Protocol. Legal framework. Nature of the event, process control, marketing mix of the event. Sponsorship and budget planning. Promotion. Risk management processes in event organization. Logistics and security. Evaluation.
Teaching is done interactively, with the active participation of students in the teaching process. Practical classes are planned to be interactive in case studies elaborations. Education processes are delivered through audio visual presentations of case studies.
