Educational goal:

The objective of the course is to master the basic knowledge in the field of user interface design (UI) that enables the student to independently manage multimedia projects. The aim of the course is that B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management acquires competencies of interface design process for management of interactive multimedia projects.

Educational outcome:

Students will be able to design user interface to improve user experience in interaction with the multimedia. B.Sc. in Engineering Management acquires the competencies for user interface for industrial software applications web applications, android applications and Internet of Things) project management.

Course content:

Introduction. What the user do. User experience (UX). Design principles in communication. Interactive design. Visual management. Content organization. Navigation. Organization of pages. Lists, forms and controls. Actions and commands. Software for user interface (UI) design.Responsive design. Use of social media. Multimedia project management

Teaching methods:

Teaching on the course includes lectures and exercises with examples of design of user interface (UI). During the semester, the student is obliged to do a project where he will apply the acquired knowledge in the field of design of user interface. The entire exercise takes place with the help of computers and suitable software packages.
