The objective of the course is to master the ways of visualizing the idea. Visualization of the idea is needed for students in order for them to be able to present their ideas clearly, analyze them and critically look back at them in the first stages of the creative process. Objectives of the course include mastering the creation of virtual environments that can be used in video games, advertisements, film production and animation.

At the end of the course students will be introduced to the various forms of digital art. They will have the knowledge of using technology as an auxiliary tool for the purpose of artistic expression, creating visual content for various needs, both from software and specialized hardware.

The content of the course would include the introductory part of acquaintance with digital design and the different application of digital drawing and painting, both creative and technical requirements that are placed before students. Possibility to use acquired knowledge from the course both in pre-production and in post production when creating the final results. In the practical part, drawing tablets will be used, software will be used to solve problem perspectives, familiarize with the tools and techniques of digital drawing, image processing and image bitmap.

Teaching is done with modern didactic tools and methods, interactive in the form of lectures, and computer exercises. The lectures show the theoretical part of the material accompanied by examples and simulation of the solution for easier understanding of the subject matter. Computational exercises are organized in a way to supplement skills with practical knowledge enabling students to apply the knowledge acquired in lectures. In addition to lectures and exercises, consultations are also held regularly.
