Acquiring new theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field of electronic medical devices and application of modern microelectronics technologies in medical devices
- Ability to design a simple ECG, EMG, EEG device, pulsoximeter as well as their connection with the computer - ability to perform hardware implementation of the most frequently used medical devices - the ability to understand the work and basic parts of medical devices for diagnostics (X-ray, scanner, nuclear magnetic resonance), - ability to design and fabricate microfluidic chips for application in biomedicine
Design and manufacturing of medical electronics devices. ECG. EMG. EEG. Pulsoximeter. Pacemaker. Blood sugar meter. Construction and operation of X-ray, PET scanners, CT scanners, nuclear magnetic resonance devices. Application of electronics in dental devices. Application of microelectronics and MEMS in electronic medical devices. Application of nanotechnology in medicine for targeted delivery of the drug and destruction of tumor tissue. Neural impulse actuator-demonstration of practical work. Electronic circuit of Zapper. Microfluidic chips and their application in biomedicine. Application of edible electronics for biomarker monitoring. Application of textile electronics in medicine.
