General information:

Category Scientific-professional
Scientific or art field Mašinski elementi, mehanizmi i inženjerske grafičke komunikacije
Interdisciplinary No
ECTS 10
Educational goal:

Acquisition of advanced knowledge in order to elaborate variant construction solutions and choose optimal ones from the techno-economic and ecological-energy aspect. Basic technical indicators are a service life in the field of low and multiple cycle fatigue and reliability.

Educational outcome:

Students will be trained to: monitor scientific and research literature from a selected field given in the subject content; independently solves scientific and research problems in this field (forming appropriate analytical, numerical and experimental models); to write scientific and research works independently or teamwork; knowledge and skills they know to pass on to others.

Course content:

In this subject, we would study ways of analyzing design solutions with the goal of finding ways for their: modification by improving technical characteristics, improving quality, improving the look (restoration, redesign, design and overall design), differentiation, diversification and elimination. Production. Quality. Indicators of product quality in mechanical engineering. Methodology of product quality assurance. Product Quality Assessment Methodology. Assessment of the quality of the construction solution. Means of improving product quality. Method affinity diagram. Comparative method with benchmark. The idea of ??a torrent of ideas. The cause is the result. Flowchart. Ecology. Regulations. Also, we would study ways of designing machine structures with the goal of creating modern products that would be noticed on the market. Special attention would be paid to the so-called, ecological design, ie, adapting the shape, color and graphics of information to the environment. Function. Purpose. Structure. Size. Type of material. Mass. Ergonomic requirements. Security. Aesthetic requirements. Size of the series. Delivery time. Quality. Reliability. Working life. Level of efficiency. The price. Manner of production and technology. Assembly. Tagging. Examination. Conservation. Packing. Packaging. Storage. Transport. Deconservation. Installation. Handling. Exploitation. Service. Maintenance. Hygienic requirements. Repair. Outside influences. Biological factors. Recycling. Environmental Protection. Special and personal requirements.

Teaching methods:

Lectures, study research work and consultations. The lectures provide a theoretical part of the material using modern equipment and information and communication technologies. Through lectures, a student acquires and mastered contemporary scientific knowledge, scientific methods and procedures that enable him to become independent research work. In addition to lectures, consultations are also held regularly. Study research work includes all forms of teaching that are in the function of directly training a student for research, writing scientific papers and making a doctoral dissertation. Study research work includes active monitoring of primary scientific sources, organization and execution of numerical simulations and experimental research.
