Educating students to get acquainted with the literature and active research work in modeling, identification, and system simulation.
Student is educated to actively use scientific literature and research in the field of modeling, identification, and system simulation.
Mathematical models of dynamic systems (real processes described by differential equations, partial differential equations). Simulations (numerical algorithms and calculations, simulation software). Data models used in simulations (data formats and representations, digital data models). System identification. Modelling based on machine learning (artificial neural networks). Part of the teaching activity on the subject is done through independent research and study work in the field of system modeling and simulation. Research and study work includes using primary research resources, organization and execution of experiments, numerical simulations, possibly writing a paper on system modeling and simulation.
