ECTS | 6 |
To introduce different medical imaging techniques of organs, tissues, physiological and metabolic processes visualisation. To introduce possibilities of multimodal, multiparametric and machine learning approaches in computer aided diagnostics according to medical imaging data. To introduce techniques of large-scale data management.
After these course students will be able to understand and use medical imaging techniques for visualisation of different morphological, functional and metabolic characteristics of organs and tissues. Students will also learn about actual multimodal and multiparametric approach in medical diagnostics and therapy monitoring.
- Contrast agents in medical imaging - MPR (Multiplanar Reconstruction) and VR (Volume Rendering) techniques - Blood vessel visualization techniques - Perfusion technique in visualisation of tissue and organ characteristics and perfusion map generation - Diffusion technique in visualisation of organ and tissue characteristics and diffusion map generation - Visualisation of metabolites and metabolite map generation - Cardiac imaging: heart morphology and function visualisation - Visualization of brain function and generation of functional brain maps - Multimodal and multiparametric approach in computer aided diagnostics and large scale data management
