Gaining the basic knowledge required in the selection, design, construction and maintenance of the structural systems in the scene architecture.

Competence for choice, design, construction and maintenance of structural systems in the scene architecture.

Definition of structural system of the scene objects. Classification of structural systems of the scene objects. Load capacity, stability, serviceability and durability. Evolution of structural systems of scene objects. Basic principles of design. principles of choice of structural systems. Relation between scene object and structure. Line and surface systems - load transfer. Building of structural systems of scene objects. Structures of stage, bleachers, backdrops and scene: horizontal and vertical structural elements. Skeletal and panel structural systems. Scene objects of special purpose. Large scene objects. Review of characteristic scene objects with basic of numerical modeling of structures.

Lectures. Auditory and computer exercises. Consultation. Continuous monitoring of the level of student's knowledge, colloquium and exam.
