Evolving and acquiring a new knowledge of haptic devices, and their applying in the virtual environment.

Training students for application development for haptic interaction in virtual environment. Ability of scientific research In to the field of haptic interaction. One part of the lectures consists of self research in the field. Self research consists of detail review of actual literature of the haptic interaction and application development for interaction in virtual environment by use of Phantom OMNI haptic device. Developed application should be a part of project.

Actual haptic devices review. Developing libraries for haptic devices programming. Haptic rendering. Mapping haptic device workspace into graphic space. Review of haptic devices applying in the next fields: medicine, mechanical engineering, art and gaming industry.

Lectures, Computer practice, Consultations and Project. Students have to do one project work.
