Development of the ability of students to design architectural projects, complexes and urban fragments in accordance with the needs of the modern city, designing in accordance with the possibilities of modern computer technologies.

Ability for independently research and study of important and significant principles and standards in architectural and urban design, as well as adequate use of modern designer computer programs.

Basic principles of urban and architectural design, introduction to the capabilities of the contemporary design technologies that allow an adequate process of design.Development of urban structures in accordance with adequate relationship of architecture and urban space, topics such as the concept of architecture and urban design, programs of open city spaces and architectural structures, analysis of urban elements and their relationship with houses. Specifics of NURBS modeling of lines and surfaces. Modeling of linear, surface and volume elements. Modeling in Rhinoceros 3D and application in architectural and urban design. Application of the Rhinoceros 3D advantages in the model adjustment for digital fabrication.

Lectures, laboratory exercises (elaboration of the project), consultations, written and oral exam.
