Introduction of students into basics of freehand drawing. Introduction to traditional drawing media and practise in drawing of still life, interior and exterior.
Students learn basic drawing methods, which is important precondition for successful passing further subjects with elements of drawing or visual development.
Students learn to use tradional freehand media (coal, pencils, ink). They learn basic theoretical principles in freehand drawing: line, perspective, workflow, measuring, materialisation and texture, shading and lighting, composition. Theoretical principles are practised by drawing of still life, interior and exterior.
Lectures and exercises. Consultations. Exam grade is summary of lessons attendance and works from exercises during semester.
