Acquiring knowledge, competencies and academic skills in the field of application of coordinate measuring systems. Development of creative abilities and mastering specific practical skills in the field of application and integration of coordinate measuring systems.

Ability to solve concrete problems from the domain of application of coordinate measuring systems. Mastering the methods, procedures and processes of applying coordinate measuring systems. Development of skills and skills for the application of coordinate measuring systems. Ability to critically and self-critical thinking and approach in defining the measuring strategy and other elements of the application of coordinate measuring systems.

Special fixture. Unification and standardization of fixtures and fixtures elements for coordinate measuring systems. Designing fixtures.Computer aided fixtures design. Development of coordinate measuring machines. The hardware structure of the CMM. The software structure of the CMM. CMM programming. Integration of CMM into different technological structures. Accuracy and testing of CMM.

Teaching is done with modern didactic means and methods, interactive in the form of lectures and laboratory exercises. In addition to lectures and exercises, consultations are also held regularly. The lectures show the theoretical part of the material accompanied by characteristic examples for easier understanding of the subject matter. Laboratory exercises are practically applied to the acquired knowledge on the available laboratory equipment.
