The objective of the course of Fundamentals of Investment Management are to introduce students with the attitudes, approaches and logic of the investment management, as well as the investment activities and optimal management of investment activities both theoretically and practically, putting emphasis on the application and solving specific issues that arise in everyday business practice. Taking into account the simultaneous need to explore investment activities both from macro and micro aspects, market and market relations doctrines are analyzed in particular, while evaluating the effects of investment activities.
The students who complete this course will be able to apply a wide range of methods, techniques and tools in the process of making optimal investment decisions, that is, to adequately define and select the alternative investment that will maximize returns on invested funds, especially taking into account the fact that each decision is with a certain level of risk.
