The main objective of this course is to understand and integrate knowledge about the functioning of corporate finance needed for engineers who occupy positions within various companies and institutions.

Students who complete the course and pass the exam are qualified to (1) understand the role and importance of corporate governance for the operation of industrial systems and companies, (2) make decisions about managing assets of the corporation, and (3) participate in defining the relationship of the companies to investors from the position of engineers.

Financial reporting, capital budgeting, risk management.

Teaching includes lectures with examples of domestic and global business practices of corporations. As part of the exercise group work is encouraged.
