Subject: Smart Grid architecture (17.ESI116)

General information:

Category Professional-applicative
Scientific or art field Primenjeno softversko inženjerstvo
ECTS 6

The purpose of this course is acquiring fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge about designee and architecture of large scale computer systems like Smart Grid. Different software components whose coordinated work is necessary to meet requirements related to Smart Grid operation are considered in this course. Their mutual interaction is explained, so as interaction with their environment (integration).

The lectures will provide students with theoretical knowledge and real-life examples from the practice of Smart Grid architecture. By developing independent projects students will acquire qualification to analyze, understand and design architecture of these systems

Application components: middleware, advanced services, distributed transaction; Enterprise Solution Architecture: multi-site/multi-zone, traffic flow, system topology, component selection, high availability and network resiliency, routing, IP addressing, security; External Interfaces; System Monitoring And Administration

Lectures; Computer Practice; Consultations.
