Acquiring of advanced knowledge in the field of computer networks. Knowledge about advanced features of protocols in TCP/IP protocol stack. Control plane in network, notion of traffic priority, network routing. Network security. Real-time data transfer over Internet.
Knowledge about advanced notions, protocols and network technologies present in the contemporary computer networks, as well as ability to design and realize network applications.
Internet protocol, packet routing. Transport protocols. Notion of traffic priority and quality of service on application and network level. Network security (firewall, virtual private network, network address translation). Software defined networks (SDN). Protocols for real-time data tranfer over Internet (RTSP, RTP RTCP). Tools for network traffic analysis.
