General information:

Category Scientific-professional
Scientific or art field Primenjeno softversko inženjerstvo
ECTS 6

Course has a dual goal. First goal is to introduce the student to the concept of an agent and multi-agent systems while second goal is to present application of the abovementioned technologies to the infrastructure microgrids.

At the end of the module, the student will be able to: Understand the concept of an agent. – Understand how agents are distinct from other software paradigms. – Understand what a multi-agent system is. – Explain important characteristics of multi-agent system coordination and cooperation. – Understand the concept of a microgrid. – Understand application of a multi-agent system to infrastructure microgrids.

– Agents and software agents. – Multi-agents system. – Reactions, proactivity, and social skills of agents in multi-agent systems. – Microgrid concept and microgrid types. – Problem of microgrid control - Optimization, control and management application. – Multi-agent software system application on decentralized microgrid control. – Model of multi-agent microgrid controller.
