Capacity for independent study of the principles and standards in the field of sustainable development and energy efficiency, applicable to architectural and urban design.
The relationship of demographic and spatial planning. Land use. Market of land for construction and its correlation with the number of floors and planning purposes. The global deficit of agricultural land and its importance. The rapid urbanization process and predicts of the future. Sustainable development and planning of settlements. Application of the principles of sustainable urban development in a given fragment (urban design) and a given architectural project, which preceded with the research of program, volume, amounts.
