The educational objective of the course is to acquire advanced knowledge in the field of systemic modeling of waste management. Introducing advanced systems approaches that include the possibility of integral analysis of waste management as part of energy systems and water management systems
Student acquires knowledge about modern approaches and possibilities for systemic modeling of waste management as part of energy and water management systems through the application of modern tools that include the possibility of including changes in quantity and composition of waste, changes in energy prices and changes in the interaction between management systems waste, water and energy systems.
Principles of Dynamic Modeling of Anthropogenic Systems. Basics of dynamic material flow analysis, and links between material flow analysis and life cycle analysis. Interactions and systemic connection between waste management, water and resource systems and energy systems. Methods for evaluating complex system solutions taking into account long-term environmental impacts of analyzed anthropogenic systems.
The method of teaching is based on the teaching, research and simulation of the process, systems and their interacion, writing the project from the defined area, dictation on concrete examples, analysis of scientific data sources.
