New definition of sustainable development of agriculture and rural areas in the world, developed countries and Serbia. Contribution to water conservation, air and soil. Scope of application of Good Agricultural Practices, Global GAP rating of applicability in Serbia, a good practice. The development of agricultural machinery and equipment, contribution to sustainable agriculture. The contribution of IT achievement of sustainable agricultural production, achievements and prospects. Achievements in the production and use of renewable raw materials, products of agriculture. Modern methods of control and management of agricultural machinery and equipment. Measurement and sensors in agriculture. Modern methods of production in greenhouses. Economic aspects of sustainable agricultural production. Rural development, cultural heritage and other social influences. Problem definition and goals of action in the future, with special emphasis on research and development activities.
