Educational goal:

The aim of the course is to train doctoral students for independent scientific research in the areas of security and safety, measuring and analyzing methods of work, work procedures and tools.

Educational outcome:

After completing and passing the courses, students will gain the necessary knowledge to implement advanced security and safety in the work processes of identifying and defining the problem, through data collection, analysis, and taking measures for improvement.

Course content:

The role and importance of occupational safety in modern manufacturing, process and service systems. Research work processes, work cases, work system, participants in the work process, the relationship of man and the work process. The structure of the work process, the division of labor. The principles, methods, techniques, procedures for occupational safety. Methods for extracting and displaying information about the processes and operations. Research on the influence of environmental conditions, lighting, noise, microclimate conditions on the safety and health of workers. Reliability means of work, study psycho-social conditions at work. Research of influence on people identified hazards and hazards in the workplace. Microclimate and thermal comfort.

Teaching methods:

Lectures: (Mentor with the student chooses one or more modules, depending on the scope of the module). Lectures are conducted in combination. The presentation of the theoretical part is followed by examples which serve to clarify the of the theoretical part curriculum. Consultation. In addition, consultations will be held regularly. Through study research and studying scientific journals and other literature, student independently deepens the lecture material. In addition to working with teachers, students are prepared to write their own scientific work.
