Educational goal:

The educational goal is to introduce doctoral students in the chosen area of operational management in the security and safety at work, so that they will be able to independently research and learn general settings that apply to the selected subject area.

Educational outcome:

Outcome of the lectures are knowledge and student ability for independent and group research and research in the areas of basic safety management and safety. After completing and passing the courses, students will gain the necessary knowledge to implement advanced security and safety in the work processes of identifying and defining the problem, through data collection, analysis, and taking measures to scientific research.

Course content:

Operational management, the role and importance. Design of products, the molding process in material production and services, the analysis of flows in the system, Lean System and Safety. Impact on the improvement of the quality system security and safety. Project management of occupational safety, predicting the development of security and safety in future case studies.

Teaching methods:

Lectures: (Mentor with the student chooses one or more modules, depending on the scope of the module). Consultation. Lectures are conducted in combination. The presentation of the theoretical part is followed by examples which serve to clarify the theoretical part of the curriculum. In addition, consultations will be held regularly. Through study research students will studying scientific journals and other literature deepening own curriculum with lectures. In addition to working with teachers, students are prepared to write their own scientific work.
