Educational goal:

Acquiring knowledge, competencies and academic skills for EU directives in the field of safety and health at work. Development of creative abilities and mastering specific practical skills in the field of application of EU directives in the field of occupational health and safety.

Educational outcome:

Ability to solve specific problems of applying EU directives and national legislation in the field of occupational safety and health. Mastering the methods, procedures and processes of applying EU directives and national legislation in the field of occupational safety and health. Developing Skills and proficiency for EU Directives and National Legislation. Ability to critically and self-critical thinking and approach in solving the problem of the application of EU directives and national legislation.

Course content:

Basic global strategies in the field of living environment. International multilateral contracts in the field of occupational health and safety. Basic topic EU strategies significant for this field. EU directive in the field of occupational health and safety. National strategies in the field of occupational health and safety. National legislation i the field of occupational health and safety. Institutional and human capacities for law enforcement.

Teaching methods:

Teaching is done with modern didactic means and methods, interactive in the form of lectures, auditory and computer exercises. In addition to lectures and exercises, consultations are also held regularly. The lectures show the theoretical part of the material accompanied by characteristic examples for easier understanding of the subject matter. At the auditory and computer exercises, the acquired knowledge in the lectures is practically applied.
