Enabling students to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of solid, crystalline and amorphous materials as components of the environment and their participation in violation of the Environment

Acquired knowledge to be used in further training and education as well as in solving practical engineering problems.

Solid materials. Ordered and disordered structures, glass. Glass, physical characteristics. Glass-water interaction. Corrosion in the environment. Interaction of glass and different types of radiation and the impact of these interactions on environment. Impact of glass production, usage and disposal on environment: energy and climate change. Recycling of solid waste in the glass and ceramics industry. Preparation and characterization of ecological silicate and phosphate glasses. Ordered systems. Metals and insulators. Physical characteristics. Changes made by interactions with natural agents. The possibility of pollution and its prevention. European standards and norms in the use of these materials in different segments.

The conversation method and group work with students.
