Educational goal:
To obtain knowledge about biosystems, precedures, implement and environmental impacts.
Educational outcome:
Knowledge and skills about contemporary problems related to the environmental protection in biosystems.
Course content:
Introduction, information about course, procedures and students obligations. Definition of biosystems, national and international associations, journals and events. Standards and safety in the field of agricultural engineering. Propelled machines and tractors in agriculture, definition, characteristics, safety and ergonomic. Anthropogenic soils, definition, properties. Soil as non-renewable source, tillage and effects. Preservation of soil fertility and biodiversity. Tillage procedures, machines and tools for soil tillage. Procedures and machines for crop cultivation and protection. Harvesting procedures and equipment. Sugar beet and potato digging.
Teaching methods:
Lectures, essay, test and oral exam.
