Educational goal:

Enabling students to identify, critically analyse and creatively use contemporary experiences in visual image design.

Educational outcome:

Students’ ability for advanced individual and group creative work in the area of visual image design and its application in various art forms.

Course content:

New tendencies among various art disciplines: architecture, industrial design and design; fine arts and photography; strip and illustration; film and visual effects; animation, video games and interactive media. Forms of internet communication – sites, blogs, forums, social networks. Use of digital media in traditional art practices. Use of traditional forms in new technologies.

Teaching methods:

Lectures, workshop, creative work within a workshop, project.
