Educational goal:
Enabling students to master matrices and languages for understanding and creation of dramaturgy in multimedia projects in which human body/presence or human generated electonic technology produces and transfers meanings.
Educational outcome:
Students’ ability for advanved individual and group dramaturgical and conceptual creation of various performing forms.
Course content:
Term and concept of time design. Tools for time design. Time design in live performance. Time design in electonic art forms. Body as medium. Body as mediator/holder and creator of meaning. Body dimensions. Cultural codes for body reading. Psycho-physical technologies in art. Dance, street and site-specific theatre, performance, art in public space, landscape art, body art. Narrative and perception models of attention. Interactive digital technologies. Performer and spectator in digital media.
Teaching methods:
Lectures, workshop, creative work within a workshop, project.
