Introduction to the function, architecture and next-generation network services. Mastering the skills necessary to deploy new services based on advanced communication technologies. Introduction to the issue of security in next-generation networks. Getting to know new trends in the field of information and communication technologies.

The student is able to analyze and design services, topology and signalization of next generation networks. Student will become familiar with the quality of service of next generation networks.The student is introduced to security issues in next generation networks.

Standards for encoding audio and video signals in next generation networks.Convergence of services in the next generation networks - MPLS technology.Characteristics of voice and video transmission over the IP network.Protocols for delivering audio and video content in real time - RTP and RTCP protocols.Voice over IP technology - VoIP technology. Multimedia content transfer technology over the IP network - IMS. Communication protocols for signaling and control of multimedia communications in IP networks - SIP protocol, H.248 / MEGACO protocol. Methods for ensuring the quality of service in the next generation networks.Security in the next generation networks.Services and applications of next generation networks - IPTV service. Virtualization technology in next generation networks. Cloud computing technology. Software-defined networks.
