Teaching students to design, implement, and test components of automotive software systems based on automotive standards and best practices

After successfully attending the module, participants will be capable to, recognize, understand and describe software engineering processes and practices as used in the automotive software industry and can apply this understanding to design, implement, and test components of automotive software systems.

Introduction. Part 1: Automotive software engineering (Automotive architectures, system and software design. Automotive practices and processes (V-model etc.). Automotive software test and verification. Automotive software project management and software product management.) Part 2: Development of automotive software systems (Theory and practice of platform-independent software development of applications for automotive systems. Hands-on laboratory.)
