Educational goal:

Getting familiar with basic concepts and software architecture of intelligent systems and applied technologies; readiness for development of software components for intelligent systems.

Educational outcome:

Knowledge of approaches used in software development for intelligent systems. Readiness for software design of intelligent system components. Capability of integrating new software components into intelligent systems, with focus on the functional aspect.

Course content:

Introduction to intelligent systems. Basic concepts and motivation of using intelligent systems. Architecture of intelligent systems. Heterogeneous intelligent systems. Approaches and methods used in intelligent system development. Technologies used in IS implementation. Relation to Internet of Things.
