Educational goal:

This subject topic are selected examples from history of digital animation and computer visualisation, with main goals to establish better understanding of digital animation paradigma, connections between art and engineering and reflections of the digital animation on mass culture.

Educational outcome:

Making a solid base for greater quality in work of computer animator. Apply animation techniques in further education and professional work.

Course content:

This subject follows history of digital animation from early examples in domein of experimental animation, until contemporary digital production. Main focus is on the history of 3d animation through selected examples which made impact on mass culture. This subject spread across wide field of animated movies, visual effects, architectural and engineering visualizations and other animated contents.

Teaching methods:

Lectures. Consultations. Exam grade is summary of lessons attendance and from theoretical works during semester.
