Introducing students with the most common hazardous occurrences in the region, methods of analysis and evaluation. Adoption the main elements of disaster risk cycle.

The acquisition of basic knowledge of hazards and their impacts on the environment. Students gain competencies to identify and analyze the harmful effects of risk realization with the aim of risk prevention.

The course is a comprehensive interdisciplinary analysis of a series of daily hazards that affect the environment. Describes and explains the process of the formation and propagation of hazards, as well as methods for early warning of these hazards. Detailed analysis of recent and historical catastrophic events caused by hazardous occurrences. It analyzes the strategies to mitigate the effect of the hazard on the environment. Each of the most frequent hazard in the region is analyzed in detail. Part of the course is devoted to the basics of risk management cycle of events with catastrophic consequences.

Teaching on the course includes lectures and auditory exercises.
