Introducing students with basic and advanced techniques of using computer software necessary for further education and professional development.

Equalizing the level of knowledge of students and their training for quality teaching, self-improvement, writing of reports, seminar and final works. Mastering basic and specialized knowledge in the use of software in mechanical engineering and scientific research.

Basics of the operating system Windows : work with files, basic settings. Training students for independent work in software packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MathType, Wolfram Mathematica, Axis VM, AutoCad . Basics of processing textual content in scientific and technical documentation in the programming environment LaTeX . The basics of internet technologies: Google, Gmail, Google Forms. Fundamentals of scientific search technology: Google Scholar, Web of Science, Scopus . Excel : basic functions, worksheet, document formatting, Page Setup , filling, hiding cells, border , color, merge ), giving names to cells, formatting cells, linking cell contents, formulas, graphics, sorting data (filters). Data display, printing, exporting files. The basics of creating and processing vector graphic objects: ( Inkscape, Corel :). The basics of creating and processing digital images.
