One of the integral segments of the curriculum for the study programme Energy and Process Engineering is professional practice carries out in adequate scientific and research institutions, relevant city and provincial institutions dealing with activities relevant to acquire adequate practical experience in regional planning and regional development. The objective of professional practice is to acquire direct and practical knowledge on the functioning and organization of institutions and establishments dealing with jobs within the profession for which the student is being educated and the possibility of applying the previously acquired knowledge in practice.
- Educating students to apply previously acquired theoretical and professional knowledge for solving concrete practical problems of regional planning and development within the selected institution or establishment. - Getting students acquainted with the activities of the selected institution or establishment, their business manners, management and employees` roles in adequate fields and their organization structures. - Acquired professional knowledge students will apply in further education and further practice (professional work).
The content of professional practice is created for each candidate separately, in agreement with the management of the institution or establishment in which the practice is performed, and in accordance with demands of the profession for which the student is being educated.
Practical work, tutorials and writing a professional practice diary in which students describe activities and jobs they performed during professional practice.
