Educational goal:
Education of students in field of vehicle ergonomics and techniques for improvement of vehicle comfort and ergonomics.
Educational outcome:
Student acquires a multidisciplinary engineering knowledge in field of vehicle ergonomics and about the automotive technologies for improvement of vehicle comfort and ergonomics.
Course content:
Anthropometry in motor vehicle. Ergonomic characteristics of a driver's place in passenger car and commercial vehicle. Motor vehicle noise, methods for noise reduction. Vibrations and osculation in motor vehicle and methods for reduction. Microclimate in motor vehicle and methods for improvement of microclimate. Visibility from motor vehicle and equipment for improvement of the visibility. Regulations regarding motor vehicle ergonomics and safety. Systems for improvement of passive and active safety.
Teaching methods:
Lectures, auditory practice, laboratory practice, consultations.
