Educational goal:

Objective is to expand general systematic knowledge for managing material flow from row materials to recycling.

Educational outcome:

Acquiring knowledge related to the planning, organization and management of material flows in relation to the types and types of products. Planning and managing the entire logistics chain from procurement and production to distribution and recycling.

Course content:

Management forms in logistics. Strategic, tactical and operational decision-making and logistics management. Project definition, project and resource management concepts, monitoring and control - project management, planning and management of logistics systems in the enterprise, planning and management of global flows of materials and goods, SWOT analyses, supply chains, VDI recommendations for management of logistics processes, Supply Chain Management, logistic controlling, logistics 4.0. The role of simulations.

Teaching methods:

Lectures, auditory and laboratory practice. During the semester, students are obliged to prepare a presentation and project on a given topic. Assessment of knowledge is based on the degree of active participation of students in lectures, realized project, given presentation and oral part of the exam.
